February: Perl Toolchain Summit 2023, Lyon, France
The year began with our sponsorship of and participation in the Perl Toolchain Summit in Lyon. Hosted by the National Payments Network of Malaysia, this event presented a unique challenge: developing innovations in payment technologies in four critical areas of digital payments – security and fraud detection, efficiency, sustainability, and financial inclusion. Our two teams' participation in this event showcased our innovative approaches to these critical areas in fintech, demonstrating our capacity for creative problem-solving and our commitment to using technology for social and economic betterment.
August: Postgres Ibiza, Spain
Our thirst for knowledge led us to the sunny shores of Ibiza, Spain, for the Postgres Ibiza conference. This international event provided a haven for PostgreSQL enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of networking opportunities and insightful discussions focused on the popular open-source database platform. We dove into the latest trends in database management, unearthing valuable solutions for efficient data handling and storage. December: HackerX, Cyberjaya, Malaysia
We were proud to host HackerX at our Cyberjaya headquarters. HackerX is a global networking and recruiting company that organises over 300 events annually in more than 125 cities, collaborating with over 3,000 tech companies, including industry giants. Their mission is to connect the global tech ecosystem, providing opportunities for talented developers and startups. This invite-only event focuses primarily on developers, offering unmatched networking and recruiting opportunities, and aligns perfectly with our ethos of embracing diverse technological perspectives and innovation in fintech. At our Cyberjaya office, we hosted 30+ participants in a dynamic event, reflecting our focus on hiring tech talent.
